Palali Airport goes international

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Palali Airport has been named as the Jaffna International Airport. The upgrading of the airport facilities commenced on July 5th and it is expected to be completed on October 10th.
The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation stated the airport will be declared open around the 17th of this month. In addition, the Batticaloa and Ratmalana Airports are also due to be named as International Airports.
