800 new teacher recruits for the Western province

COLOMBO (News 1st):- 800 graduates have been recruited for teaching in the Western province based on the results of the recent teaching examinations. Director of Western Province Education, Sri Lal Nonis says that the appointments have been made to the primary sections and Arts and Science streams. They will be deployed to schools following a three-week training. He further added that more qualified candidates have been called for interviews in order to fill the existing vacancies.
