Colombo (News 1st): Twelve schools that are being used as paper marking centres will not reopen for the third term this Monday (September 2). According to the Education Ministry, they will reopen on September 16th.
The schools closed till September 16th are:
- Royal College, Colombo
- Nalanda College, Colombo
- Hindu College, Colombo
- Gnanodaya Maha Vidyalaya, Kalutara
- Mihindu College, Ratnapura
- St. Annes College, Kurunegala
- Kingswood College, Kandy
- Vihara Maha Devi Girls College, Kandy
- Seethadevi Girls College, Kandy
- Vidyaloka College, Galle
- Vihara Maha Devi Girls College, Badulla
- Uva Maha Vidyalaya, Badulla
All other government and government approved private schools will re-open for the third term on Monday (September 2), the Ministry of Education said.
