MTV national co-existence endeavour : Adi Vel perahera launched today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The 'Adi Vel perahera' organized by the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited with a view to build co-existence commences today (July 10) following religious observances at Selvasanidhi Kovil in Point Pedro. Group Director of Electronic Media Business of The Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited, Nedra Weerasinghe, Director of Public Relations at MTV/ MBC Priyantha Wijesinghe and several other officials attended the inaugural ceremony. The procession will travel through Jaffna, Kilinochchi and reach Vavuniya. The procession is scheduled to reach the Ginthupitiya Kovil in Colombo via Matale and Kotagala. The Adi Vel procession will arrive at the head office of The Capital Maharaja Organisation on the 13th of this month. The procession will continue to Hambantota via Kataragama on the 14th of this month. It will conclude at the Ruhunu Kataragama Maha Devalaya on the 15th.
