COLOMBO (News 1st) - Director of the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital, Consultant, Wasantha Dissanayake is to appear before the Presidential Commission appointed to answer allegations of fraud and corruption when procuring cancer medicines. Representatives from two private pharmaceutical companies are also due to testify before the commission tomorrow (July 01).
An official at the commission noted that the Director General of the Mahaweli Authority, Sri Lanka is also due before the commission to testify regarding the release of lands to construct the Batticaloa university.
