Army Commander and Rishard Bathiudeen summoned before PSC

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to probe the 04/21 terror attacks will convene for its 6th session today(June 26). Army Commander Lt. General Mahesh Senanayake and former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen have been summoned to appear before the committee today. Committee Chairman, Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri said that in addition, the Secretary to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the CEO of the Industrial Development Board have also been summoned. Meanwhile, the President and Prime Minister's names have been included in the list of those to be summoned before the committee in future. State Minister Defence Ruwan Wijewardena, and former Law and Order Ministers Sagala Ratnayaka and Ranjith Madduma Bandara are also due to be summoned.
