3 Arabs left island immediately after 04/21: TID questions those who met them

Colombo (News 1st): The Police Terrorist Investigation Division says statements were recorded from 5 people with regard to the 3 Arabs who left the island the day after the 04/21 terror attacks. The 5 people include those who met the Arabs, organized their hotel accommodation, and a translator from the Kalmunai and Kathankudy areas. The TID has obtained CCTV footage showing the Arabian nationals meeting the former Eastern province Governor M.L.M. Hizbullah on April 22nd at a hotel in Pasikudah. Police said they have received information that the individual who organized the meeting with the Arabs had left for Saudi Arabia with his family. Police said investigations were underway to determine the purpose behind their visit to the island, as well as what they did while they were here.
