41 Australia bound illegal immigrants arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - 41 illegal immigrants who were arrested on their way to Australia are to be produced before the Galle Magistrate court today(May 26). Police noted that the Navy handed over the suspects to Galle police division for further processing. Four women and five children were among the apprehended. Navy intercepted the trawler carrying illegal immigrants about 780 nautical miles off the Galle harbour.
