Two arrested with over 7g of heroin

COLOMBO (News 1st): Two suspects were arrested along with over 7g of heroin in a raid conducted in Mount Lavinia and Weeragula. The police said that a 49-year-old person was arrested for the possession of over 4g of heroin in a search operation conducted at a house in Ratmalana. He was identified as a resident of Ratmalana. Another suspect, aged 28 was arrested with over 3g of heroin when he was travelling on a motorbike in Ogodhapola, Weeragula. He was identified as a resident of Thotawaththa.
