President leaves for China. Ruwan Wijewardena appointed acting Defence Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Minister of Defence and Mass Media non-cabinet Minister, Ruwan Wijewardene has been appointed as the Acting Defence Minister during the president's absence. According to the President's media division, the president left for China in order to attend a Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations in Beijing, China.
