Three wheeler driver's body discovered in Weerawila

Colombo (News 1st): Based on the information provided by an area resident, Police recovered a body in the Weerawila area along the Hambantota - Wellawaya main road. According to Police, the deceased has been identified as W.S. Ruwan who is a resident Kudagammana 8 area in Weerawila and was employed as a three-wheeler driver in the area. The three-wheeler belonging to the victim was also discovered abandoned about 4.5 kilometres from where the body was found. The body will be handed over to the victim's relatives once the Hambantota Divisional Magistrate conducts the post-mortem examination. Police believe there is a group of suspects behind the murder and Weerawila Police is conducting further investigations.
