Controlled explosion of suspicious parcel at Katuwana

Colombo (News1st) - A suspicious parcel which was discovered inside a restaurant in the Thimbirigaskatuwa area in Katuwana was subject to a controlled explosion. According to the Police, an employee at the restaurant had informed the police on the suspicious parcel. Thereafter the Sri Lanka Airforce bomb disposal squad was called in and the parcel was subject to a controlled explosion.
