Easter bombing was retaliation for NZ mosque attack - Ruwan Wijewardene

Colombo (News1st) - During the special Parliamentary session that was convened today State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijeywardene noted that according to initial investigations, the Easter Sunday bombings were retaliation for the Christchurch Mosque shooting in New Zeland. He identified the islamist extremist group National Thowheed Jamath as the persons behind the suicide attacks that claimed the lives of 321 people and injured over 500 injured. Wijewardene also revealed that the group also had links to an organisation called JMI.
