Mother clubbed to death by daughter

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A woman was clubbed to death by her own daughter in Kahawatta. The police stated that the suspect had attacked her mother and father with a pole. The victims were admitted to the Kahawatta hospital with serious injuries and it was reported that the mother had succumbed to her injuries. The magisterial inquest and the post mortem is to be carried out today(April 17). The police added that it has been revealed that the assailant was suffering from a mental condition. The suspect is currently under police custody.
