5 LNG and 2,000 MW power plants in next 3 months

Colombo (News 1st): According to the Secretary to the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy Dr. Suren Batagoda, it is planned to commission power plants with a capacity of 2,000 megawatts within the next three months. He added that these projects are being implemented jointly with Japan, India, and China. The ministry secretary also added that plans are underway to construct 5 LNG power stations with a capacity of 300 megawatts within the next 3 months.
