Prisons Officer Lalith Kumara handed over to CCD

Colombo (News 1st): The Criminal Investigations Department has taken steps to hand over Prisons officer Lalith Kumara to the Colombo Crimes Division. The CID notes that interrogations have revealed that Lalith Kumara had maintained close contacts with notorious underworld leader Makandure Madush. Prisons officer Lalith Kumara along with Nadeemal Perera arrived in the country this morning after being deported from Dubai. Lalith Kumara was also arrested in Dubai together with notorious underworld leader Makandure Madush on February 5th.
