15 DIGs and 3 Superintendents transferred - Police Commission

Colombo (News 1st): Fifteen Deputy Inspector Generals of Police and 3 Superintendents of Police were transferred by the Police Commission based on service requirements. According to the police media unit, SP G.N. De Soyza who was in charge of the Colombo Crimes division has been transferred to the Colombo South Division. He will be in charge of the Kollupitiya, Wellawatta, Cinnamon Gardens, Borella, Narehenpita and Kirulapone police divisions. The Police Head office stated that DIG W.K.M. De Silva will be in charge of the Police Special Investigations unit.
