Police bust fake currency ring in Kiribathgoda

Colombo (News 1st): Four individuals charged with running a currency counterfeiting ring were arrested in the Kiribathgoda area by the Police. According to the Police, they were able to seize 32 fake notes with the 1000 rupee denomination and 07 fake notes with the 500 rupee denomination as well as a computer and a printer. The arrests were made following an anonymous tip noting that three people had visited Kelaniya to circulate the fake notes.
