What causes low economic growth in Sri Lanka?

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Speaking at a media briefing in parliament UPFA MP Vidura Wickramanayake claimed that a few days ago the CBSL governor stated that the country recorded the lowest growth rate in 17 years last year. He continued to say that although they might attribute this low economic growth rate to the political crisis in the country that they should consider bringing back the money that was lost in the bond scam. MP Wickramanayake noted that Ranil Wickremesinghe is politically bankrupt and that he is a thief who protects his friend the former governor who is currently in Singapore.
