IGP's voice sample submitted to court

Colombo (News 1st): The report regarding Inspector General of Police Pujitha Jayasundara's voice sample has been submitted to the court. The Government Analysts Department stated that the report was submitted to the court earlier this week. The IGP appeared before the Government Analyst Department for the first time on January 14th. This was after Court granted permission to obtain his voice sample in connection with ongoing investigations into recent allegations of several VIP assassination plots. The Government Analyst’s Department said the voice samples were required to investigate telephone conversations revealed by Anti-corruption Front Operations Director Namal Kumara pertaining to the assassination plots.
