Investigation into Sri Pada National College staff party

Colombo (News1st): The Ministry of Education says a special investigation will be carried out with regard to the incident where staff at the Sri Pada National College of Education had held a party at the premises under the influence of alcohol. Chief Commissioner of Teacher Education, K.M.H. Bandara said information had come to light that the party was held last night, adding that he has already received video footage of it. The investigation will be conducted by a team of officials from Colombo. The Chief Commissioner noted that legal action will be taken against those responsible regardless of their positions.
