COLOMBO (News 1st) - Samples from the Mannar mass grave will be sent to the US for carbon dating today (January 23). The carbon dating inspection will be conducted by the Beta Analytic center in America.
Judicial medical officer of the Mannar hospital Saminda Rajapaksa and a commissioner of the Office on missing persons will be involved in the carbon dating process.
Meanwhile, the pieces of iron recovered from the mass grave will be sent to the government analyst department.
