Wasp attack injures over 100 students in Katugastota

COLOMBO (News1st) - Over 100 students have been hospitalized following a wasp attack at a popular school in Katugastota. According to the Police, the students suffered the wasp attack this morning while at the school ground. The victims of the wasp attack were admitted to the Kandy General Hospital, and the Katugasthota hospital. Deputy Director of the Kandy hospital Dr. Iresha Fernando noted that around 30 students are currently receiving treatment at the hospital adding that they are not in any serious danger. A Spokesperson of the Katugasthota hospital noted that 88 students were admitted to their hospital following the wasp attack.
