Technical team investigates elevator crash

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An investigation has commenced into the recent elevator crash at a nightclub in Colombo 02

. 

The investigation

is being carried

out by a technical team of the State Engineering Corporation

.

The police noted that their reports will

be submitted

to courts in the future.

Initial observations into the incident

were carried

out by the technical officers last Monday (December 31)

.

The Police confirmed that statements of over 20 people have

been recorded

over the incident

. 

The incident that occurred on the 29th of December 2018 claimed the lie of a 24-year-old rugger player and injured two others
