Overturned vehicle kills 3 and injures 19 in Naththandiya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - In an accident that occurred in Naththandiya, Walahapitiya this afternoon (November 29) three women died while another 19 individuals had sustained injuries. The police stated that a luxury bus plying from Jaffna to Colombo had overturned and fallen into the Olanda stream. The injured were rushed to the Marawila hospital. The deceased were identified as three residents of Jaffna.
