Colombo (News1st): A group of 30 Indian employees in Sri Lanka lodged a complaint at the Galewela Police today (November 28).
They charge that they have not received remuneration for three months for the services they have provided. The group arrived in the country six months ago from the Jarkand Province in India and was residing in a house in Katupotha, Galewela.
They note that they arrived in the country through an Indian Contractor to construct high tension power lines.
The Indians charge that the Passports containing their visas have been taken by an agent of the company. It should be noted that it is illegal to hold on to someone else's passport.
