5 compartment train to operate on Kelaniweli route from today

Colombo (News 1st) - A  refurbished train comprising of 5 compartments is set to operate on the Kelaniweli route from today (November 17). The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation stated that the train is scheduled to run from Colombo Fort to Avissawella at 4 PM this evening. Rs. 70 million has been spent on refurbishing the railway compartments.
