COLOMBO (News 1st): Supreme Court is currently taking up the petitions filed seeking to quash the gazette notification issued by the President dissolving parliament. According to our correspondent, the AG's submission has stated that the gazette notification issued by the President "does not violate the constitution". Meanwhile, the 3 judge bench has decided to adjourn proceedings for 15 minutes.
