Group of fishermen launch protest in Thoppuwa demanding a decline in fuel prices

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A group of fishermen have launched a protest on the Thoppuwa area, obstructing vehicular movement along the Chilaw - Colombo Main Road. The protest is being carried out against the high costs of fuel and ice. Police said vehicular movement along the Colombo - Chilaw Main road has come to a standstill as a result of the protest.
