Country leaders have been bought for money : Anura Kumara

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Speaking at a conference held in Maharagama yesterday, (July 15) JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated that states have gained the ability to buy the leaders of our country for money. He also continued that reports revealed that the former President was bought by a Chinese company for US$7.6 million and that he had not rejected it. "A debate is to be held in Parliament next week. Remember this, during this debate we are prepared to divulge details including the numbers of the cheques, the banks at which they were cashed and the names of the individuals who cashed those cheques" added Dissanayake.
