Key Representative of Dubai-Based Crime Syndicate Arrested in Wellampitiya with Over 1kg of 'Ice'

COLOMBO (News1st): The Police Special Task Force has arrested a key representative of an overseas-based organized crime syndicate in Wellampitiya, seizing 1.03 kg of methamphetamine ('Ice').

Acting on a tip-off, STF officers conducted a raid outside a residence on Pansalhena Road, arresting a 40 year old local resident. 

Police identified the suspect as a primary associate of 'Subha,' who manages the local drug distribution network on behalf of Dubai based trafficker 'Dubai Dhanushka.'

The suspect and the seized contraband have been handed over to the Wellampitiya Police for further investigation.
