Over 100 Kg Of Suspected Heroin Seized in Weligama

COLOMBO (News 1st) - More than 100 kilograms of substance suspected to be heroin have been seized in six sacks along the Kapparathota beach in Weligama.
The seizure was made during a joint operation conducted by the Police Special Task Force, Sri Lanka Navy, Police Narcotics Bureau, and Coast Guard.
Two satellite phones and a Starlink system were also discovered at the scene.
