Medical Board to Assess Shiranthi Rajapaksa’s Heart Condition

COLOMBO (News1st); A decision has been made to appoint a medical board for Shiranthi Rajapaksa, who is currently receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital while in remand.

A senior official at the National Hospital stated that this decision was made to carry out further assessments regarding her heart-related treatments.

Shiranthi Rajapaksa was remanded again until the 16th.

This occurred when the case regarding the criminal misappropriation of 10 million rupees of government funds was called before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama yesterday.
