74-Year-Old Man Killed In Boralesgamuwa Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st): Police say a dispute between organized criminal groups may have led to the shooting death of a 74-year-old man.

The shooting took place last night at a house on Malani Bulathsinghala Mawatha, Boralesgamuwa.

Police said two unidentified individuals who arrived at the location on a motorcycle opened fire with a pistol before fleeing the scene.

The victim, a 74-year-old man, died in the shooting.

Two police teams are investigating the incident and working to apprehend those responsible.
