Dengue Cases Reported This Year Exceed 94,000 In Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st): The number of dengue patients reported in the country so far this year has increased to 94,037.

The National Dengue Control Unit stated that 71 people have died from dengue.

During the first 23 days of this month alone, 8,701 dengue patients have been reported.

The number of high-risk dengue MOH divisions stands at 76.

The National Dengue Control Unit stated that the highest number of dengue patients continues to be reported from the Gampaha, Colombo, and Kandy districts.

To control the spread of dengue, the National Dengue Control Unit urges the public to keep their premises clean.
