Sri Lanka Reports 91,692 Dengue Cases

COLOMBO (news 1st): The National Dengue Control Unit stated that 91,692 dengue cases have been reported across the country so far this year.

Its Director, Dr. Kapila Kannangara, said that there has been a slight decline in the number of cases reported in recent days.

However, Dr. Kannangara warned that dengue cases could rise again with the upcoming North East monsoon season.

Health authorities have stressed the need for the public’s continued vigilance and preventive action against dengue.
