Former Presidential Secretary Sugeeshwara Bandara Further Remanded Until August 12

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sugeeshwara Bandara, who served as the Personal secretary to former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, has been further remanded until August 12.

He was arrested on suspicion of criminal misappropriation of funds allocated under the Presidential expenditure head and had been placed under remand custody.

The order was issued after he was produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today.
