Homagama Crimes Unit OIC Arrested Over Motorcycle Accident Probe

COLOMBO (News 1st):The Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Homagama Divisional Crimes Investigation Unit has been arrested.

He was arrested by a team of officers from the Meegoda Police.

The arrest was made in connection with an ongoing investigation into an accident involving two women who were travelling on a motorcycle.

A medical examination is currently underway to confirm whether he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

The suspect OIC will be produced before the court.
