Sirimavo Dominates The Debate Stage To Win Sirasa Debater With AAT Season 05

COLOMBO (News1st): After months of intense competition, Sirasa Debater with AAT Sri Lanka, Season 05 concluded with Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo emerging as the champions of the prestigious inter-school debating competition.

Organized jointly by the Maharaja Media Network and the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT Sri Lanka), the fifth season of Sirasa Debater with AAT brought together talented young debaters from across the country, providing a platform to showcase their critical thinking, reasoning, and public speaking skills.

Following a series of challenging preliminary and knockout rounds, four leading schools advanced to the grand finale, where they competed for the championship title.

The finalists were:

Royal College, Colombo
Ladies' College, Colombo
Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo
Sri Chandananda Buddhist College, Kandy

After an evening of compelling arguments and outstanding oratory, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo secured the championship title, while Royal College, Colombo was named the 1st Runners-Up.

Adding to the school's success, Sanadi Amarasinghe of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo was awarded the Best Speaker of the Grand Finale for her exceptional debating performance.

Sirasa Debater with AAT Season 05 once again celebrated the power of youth voices, intellectual excellence, and the spirit of constructive debate among Sri Lanka’s future leaders.
