Patali Summoned Before Coal Probe Commission

COLOMBO (News 1st): Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka was summoned today before the Special Presidential Commission appointed to investigate coal transactions to give evidence.

The Commission stated that evidence is being recorded in connection with a complaint submitted by him.

Accordingly, the recording of evidence from individuals who submitted complaints to the Commission begins today.

Patali Champika Ranawaka also served as the Minister of Power and Energy for a period.
