Website Launched To Manage Traffic Congestion During Kataragama Esala Perahera

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Police have launched a website to assist with traffic control and parking management during the Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Esala Perahera.

Police said the website has been introduced to help devotees travelling to Kataragama for worship and to witness the Perahera, until July 30, easily locate designated parking facilities within the Kataragama town area.

The website, which is updated in real time, provides information on the availability of parking spaces at each location.

Police said the initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion in Kataragama and minimize inconvenience to the public.
