Shooting At Dehiwala Public Cemetery Leaves Guard Injured

COLOMBO (News 1st): A person has been injured in a shooting that took place at the 'Nisala Sewana' Public Cemetery in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia .

Police said the cemetery guard was injured in the shooting.

He is currently receiving treatment at the Kalubowila Hospital.

According to police, the shooting was carried out around 3:35 p.m. today by two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle.

Police suspect that the shooting may have been carried out due to a dispute between two groups of drug traffickers.
