Four Arrested At BIA With A Large Stock of Kush & Hashish

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four suspects have been arrested at the arrival terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport, for the possession of hashish and kush narcotics.

Police said the arrests were made following a tip-off and subsequent inspection.

One suspect was found in possession of 3 kg and 8 g of hashish and 1 kg 826 g of kush.

Two other suspects were arrested with 3 kg 968 mg of kush.

A fourth suspect was taken into custody with 2 kg 310 g of hashish and 1 kg 952 g of kush.

Police stated that the suspects are residents of Hettimulla and Dangowita areas.
