90% Of Farmers Receive Yala Fertilizer Subsidy

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Agrarian Development states that 90% of farmers have been provided with the fertilizer subsidy for the Yala season.
Its Commissioner General, Dhammika Ranatunga, stated that the remaining farmers will also be provided with the fertilizer subsidy as soon as possible.
The fertilizer subsidy provided by the government has been increased by 5,000 rupees.
Accordingly, the fertilizer subsidy provided per hectare is now 30,000 rupees.
