Trump and Xi visit the Temple of Heaven in Beijing

U.S. President DonaldTrump and Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, a 600 year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site, following their meeting today.

The temple was originally built in 1420 towards the end of the Ming Dynasty and was used for imperial sacrifices and to pray for a good harvest, according to UNESCO.

The temple is a contemporary of the Forbidden City, which Trump visited during his last state visit in 2017.
