30 Firefighters Deployed to Contain Dam Street Blaze

COLOMBO (News 1st); A fire broke out at a commercial establishment in the Dam Street area, prompting an immediate response from the Fire and Rescue Services Department.
The department said that 10 fire engines were deployed to bring the blaze under control, with a team of 30 firefighters engaged in the operation.
Authorities confirmed that the spread of the fire has now been successfully contained. Further details regarding damage or the cause of the fire have not yet been disclosed.
