Public to Review 2026 Voters’ Electoral Register Until 5th June

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Election Commission says the deadline to submit claims and objections regarding the 2026 electoral register has been set until the 5th of June 2026. 

Chairman of the National Election Commission R.M.A.L. Rathnayake stated that the preliminary draft of the voters’ register has been displayed for public inspection.

He said voters can check the register at District Election Offices and Grama Niladhari offices.

Chairman Rathnayake further stated that the facility is also available through the official website of the National Commission.
