Vietnamese President Tô Lâm Receives Ceremonial Welcome at Sri Lanka President’s Office

COLOMBO (News 1st); President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Tô Lâm, was officially welcomed to Sri Lanka at the President’s Office by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

President Tô Lâm was escorted by the Police Mounted Division along with a convoy of security vehicles, marking the formal commencement of the ceremonial reception.

A tri-forces guard of honour was accorded to President Tô Lâm in recognition of his state visit and official status.

During the Grand Ceremonial Reception, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake introduced President Tô Lâm to members of the Sri Lankan government.

In turn, the Vietnamese delegation accompanying President Tô Lâm was formally introduced to the President of Sri Lanka, underscoring the diplomatic significance of the visit.
