LAUGFS Gas Increases LP Gas Prices; Litro Gas Prices Unchanged

COLOMBO (News 1st) - LAUGFS Gas PLC has increased its domestic LP gas prices with effect from midnight yesterday.

Accordingly, the price of a 12.5kg LP gas cylinder, which previously was previously priced at Rs. 5,700, has been increased by 
Rs. 545 to Rs. 6,245.

The price of a 5kg gas cylinder has also been increased by Rs. 220, from Rs. 2,280 to Rs. 2,500. 

Meanwhile, Litro Gas Lanka Ltd will have the domestic LP gas prices for the month of May unchanged.

Officials at Litro Gas said the decision was taken to provide relief to consumers despite rising global gas prices and challenging exchange rate conditions.

Accordingly, the price of a Litro 12.5kg domestic LP gas cylinder remains at Rs. 4,765, while the 5kg cylinder remains at Rs. 1,910 and the 2.3kg cylinder at Rs. 890.
