President Issues Directives to Provide Temporary Housing for Victims of Cyclone Ditwah by End of May

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has issued directives to complete the construction of temporary housing by the end of May for those still residing in displacement camps following Cyclone Ditwah.

Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply, Dr. Susil Ranasinghe, noted that displaced persons remain across approximately 20 main camps situated primarily within three districts.

Minister Dr. Susil Ranasinghe, further stated that around a total of 500 affected families currently reside in displacement camps.
